With Ram Temple, Ayodhya to get its Mosque near Ram Janambhoomi


 

With all preparations lined up. Ayodhya is all set to welcome the temple and mosque as allotted by Supreme Court. Years after concluding, Ram Janambhoomi is all decked to welcome its God at his official residence. Yes, after the demolition of Babri masjid, the situation became worst especially for the temple-town to give Ram Lalla his place. But, now after the Supreme Court has passed its judgment for the complete welfare of the society by not tarnishing the beliefs of both the religion. The twin-city of Faizabad has again set forth to rejoice in the name of Ram. Alongside this, there has been other latest news regarding mosque construction and development in the nearby areas. 

According to the latest news, the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board has flagged the names of Trustees for the Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF). This has been the official body that will look forward to the mosque construction and other related development in the provisional site given by the Apex Court in November 2019 judgment. 

As per the latest news, the board has announced its decision to get its five-acre of land for mosque construction that is yet to get handed over by the Supreme Court. It is also learned that the board’s Chief Executive Officer and founder trustee will be Syed Mohammad Shoeb. 

As Ayodhya is set to get its awaited Ram Lalla’s Temple, the city is also setting its eyes for the mosque construction by finalizing its nine-member board.  

Additionally to the latest news, the state government has allotted the land to the board at Dhannipur village in Ayodhya. This will be a set solution for Babri Masjid that once stood on the disputed land of Ram Janambhoomi. The Waqf board had accepted the land in its meeting and had claimed to initiate the mosque construction there.  

As per the sources, it is also claimed that IICF board’s Director Zufar Ahmad Faruqi who is ruling out his tenure with the six-month extension, will become the Chief/President Trustee of IICF.   

As claimed by Faruqi, ‘Nine members have been finalized for the board from the total of the 15-member board. The remaining six will be co-opted by the trustees.’ He adds, “A lot of names under consideration. While some voluntarily want to join the board, some we want them to join the group. As of now, the selected trustees for mosque construction are those who want a positive outcome to get leverage over the dispute.” 

Further according to the reports, it is said that Ayodhya will be getting the IICF board all clubbed by different professional backgrounds. This includes Gorakhpur Adnan Farukkh Shah will be holding Vice-President’s post while Lucknow journalist  Aktar Hussian and Meerut industrialist Faez Aftab will be secretary and treasurer, respectively. 

Along with the mosque and conducting daily religious courses, the IICF is also said to have community services like medical and health facilities, a community kitchen for the local masses, a museum, a library, and publishing houses.
