India Rung Up with 5.66 Lakh COVID-19 Patients, comes up in 3rd Position in Global Ranking



India rungs up in COVID-19 pitching up for 3rd position globally with 24,248 fresh cases and 425 deaths in the last 24hours. As stated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, “Positive cases stand at 6,97,413 that also includes 2,53,287 active cases, 4,24,433 cured/discharged cases and 19,693 deaths.” According to the latest news from the Health Ministry, Indian that was earlier lagging behind Russia in Coronavirus race is now behind the US and Brazil. 

According to the further latest news in Hindi, Telangana has spruced up with COVID-19 cases that count 1,590 new cases and seven death, pushing the tally to reach up to 23,902. Maharashtra is the worst hit by COVID-19 from the beginning now count 2,06,619 with a single day spike as 6,555 new cases.

The US reported a rising number of COVID-19 deaths followed by Brazil reported for the highest recovery rate among others. In the third segment, India fixes itself for having a fourth positioned country in embracing its people who are suffering from the pandemic.

According to an American Journal, it is claimed that 105 Greek patients have shown signs of improvement from COVID-19. It claims that by using Colchicine, an anti-inflammatory drug that is prescribed for treating gout has shown signs of improvement. 

As stated in the latest news, it is said that 55 of the 105 patients were given daily doses of  Colchicine for three weeks. Alongside this, there were other antibiotics and medicines which were also given. Thus, the results were a big achievement in medical science as the patients who were given this dose were said to have improved their criticality from the disease. 

Contrary to this, the medicine has shown faster signs of curing. The latest news has also relieved that many doctors have focussed on the small-sized study. 

Unlike the tussle of usage and explanations, it is said that Colchicine medicine is prescribed to be safe and is inexpensive. Apart from that the medicine has a long trail of improvement in gout history and is away from side-effects.
